“I thought I told you to take the pig to the zoo. ” The man yelled back, “I did and we had such a good time that we’re going to Opryland today.” Number 2: “Frank” stormed the corporal, “if you’d only stay sober and obey regulations you could become a corporal like me. Isn’t that worth staying sober for?" “Nothing doing!” exclaimed Frank, "when I’m ' drunk, I’m a general!' ’ We had a guest from the REAL Service in South Bend to explain the new changes in the book work. Tuesday was a day of visiting. Morris Searfoss led us in prayer before our meal. On Wednesday Elinore Leming read us a few rules about different vegetables. She gave prayer before the meal. On Thursday we had a day of chit-chatting. Friday we had our regular sing-a-long with Virginia Anhold lead- ( ing. Also Mr. and Mrs. Hawthorne played the piano and saxaphone. A special thanks to Imogene McKesson, Elimore Leming and Morris Searfoss for all of the extra work they did while Betty Gapper was recuperating from surgery. Thank you all and we are happy to see Betty back and pray that she gets back to good health soon. Blame the fores?
