Gene Snyder The American Legion Auxiliary, Walkerton wishes to express their gratitude to a man who was always willing to print almost any and all 1 news items pertaining to our organization. Through his will--1 ingness of doing so, our organization, through the many years, has been fortunate to receive re--1 cognition for our accomplishments from the District, Department and National organizations of the American Legion Auxiliary. We want to say thank you to the community of Walkerton. Nowhere else could we have found the compassion and support shown Bob beginning with his first illness in 1950 thru his death last Wed-

nesday. We feel that you cared deeply for him, and Bob in return cared deeply for Walkerton. It would be impossible to thank each of you individually for your acts of kindness from transportation to appointments, for cards, letters and encouragements when he was very ill to the thoughtful gifts of fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goodies you dropped off for him. We are especially thankful for your priceless gift of friendship. We can never thank or repay in any way Cheryl Hunsley and Bob Powers. Never has anyone had < more loyal and caring co-workers j and friends. During Bob’s illness- i es, getting the Independent News < into your mail boxes weekly was an i immense challenge which could have never been accomplished i without them. 1 Thank you one and all for everything.
