RAY E. HARDY Ray E. Hardy, 69, of 613 S. State St., North Liberty, died 11:00 p.m. Friday in his home at 64051 U.S. 31 south, Lakeville, after an illness. He was born July 6, 1925, in South i Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On January 15, 1946, in South Bend, he married Velma R. Fluckey, who survives. Mr. Hardy was a professional truck driver for more than 30 years. Also surviving are a daughter, Sheryl Vernon, of Woodland, California; three sons, Bruce and Michael, both of Lakeville, and Martin, of Lakeville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ivan, of South Bend.
