Congratulations Marianne and Philip. Lucy Ferch Promoted At Ist Source Bank Lucy L. Ferch has been promoted to assistant manager of Ist Source Bank’s Walkerton Banking Center, according the Glenn Borden, regional president of the Community Banking Division. She began her career with Ist Source in 1984, when she joined the Plymouth Banking Center as a teller and sales representatives. In 1991 she was promoted to banking center operations manager at the Walkerton Banking Center and in 1992 became a consumer loan interviewer. She is a graduate of North Jud-son-San Pierre High School and has received her general banking diploma from the American Institute of Banking. She and her husband, Roger, reside in Hamlet with their children, Ashley and lan. Merita Allsop Winner In Sew America Contest Merita Allsop, of North Liberty, was a first place winner of the 13-19 year olds in the craft category of the Sew America Creativity Contest. Recently she received prizes including a Baby Lock computer sewing machine, sewing and craft book library, Ofray ribbon kit and a years supply of Simplisity patterns. The contest included 6,500 entries. The winners of the contest will be featured in the August edition of Good Housekeeping magazine. Merita will be a 10 year 4-H member this year, is a 1994 graduate of John Glenn High School and is attending IUSB.
