race all the Cub Scouts of Pack 241 worked hard building and painting their race cars for the big event. The finished cars were in many different designs and colors. Good job boys! Historical Society Thanks Those Who Loaned World War II Memorbilia The response to the display of VE Day Remembered by the Walkerton Historical Society was gratifying. A full window of memorbilia, loaned by local persons, was viewed in the window of Professional Officenter, office of Richard Parker, CPA. Persons loaning articles were: The Rober Schaeffer family, Velma Shores, Charles Sherland, Pauline Klopfenstien, Betty Qapper, Mary Newland, Helen Verkier, Nancy Chapman, Sydney Awald, Leigh Roy Hahn, Linder Schmeltz and Earl “Buster” Lindsley. Without the generosity of these people, the display could not have been as successful. To these people, a great ‘thank you’ is given and to the interested public, who took the time to stop, view and hopefully, enjoy, their efforts are appreciated. R.E.A.L. SERVICES NUTRITION PROGRAM N.
