Lester, of Lansing, Michigan; Ann Lynn (Mrs. Dave) LeHue, of Plymouth; and Lanny Baughman, of Walkerton (wife Patty). The also have seven grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; 2 step-grand-children. Mr. Baughman retired from Wheelabrator Corp., Mishawaka as a machinist in 1987. He is employed part-time with Sprint/United Telephone. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War 11. Mrs. Baughman retired as a secretary from Urey Middle School in 1988, and is a part-time hostess at McDonalds. Friends and family are invited to help the Baughmans celebrate, on Saturday, May 13. FALCON PRIDE PLANS CAR WASHES AT FOUR AREA LOCATIONS The John Glenn High School Falcon Pride is sponsoring a car wash on two days at four locations. The purpose of their efforts is to help defray the cost of their summer performance trip to Niagra Falls, New York and Toronto. Ontario, Canada. On Saturday, May 6, the car was will be held at the North Liberty Ist Source Bank from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Falcon Pride will also be at the Plymouth K-Mart from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, June 10th, the car wash will be held at the Walkerton Ist Source Bank from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and at McDonald’s in LaPaz from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 to 4:00 p.m. Our added bonus to this event is that there will also be a bake sale too. UREY P.T.A. CITIZENSHIP WINNERS The P.T.A. Citizenship winners for the month of February at Urey Middle School are Andy Holston and Jennifer Lowry. Andy is a 7th grade student. His favorite subject is Enrichment Gass, and he enjoys basketball. Andy is the son of Roger Holston and Lisa Patton, of Walkerton. Jennifer is an Bth grade student. Athletic Physicals Set For May 9th The IHSAA athletic physical will be offered at John Glenn High School on Tuesday, May 9, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Students entering grades 10-11-12 in 1995-96, who plan to participate in athletics, may obtain an athletic physical by completing the student and parent section of the IHSAA physical form and returning it along with the $lO fee. The physical form and fee must be returned to the John Glenn High School Athletic Department by Friday, May 5.

Annual Tootsie Roll Drive Set For May 12 & 13 The Knights of Columbus annual Tootsie Roll Drive for the mentally retarded will be held Friday, May 12th and Saturday, May 13th. Our past drives, thanks to the generosity of the people of Walkerton have been most gratifying. WALKERTON Ralph and Velma Persinger and daughter Joanna, had as their guests from Thursday until Sunday this past week. Bill Scaggs and his son, Anthony, of Old Bridge, New Jersey. Bill is Ralph’s nephew and this was his first visit since 1946. Saturday afternoon they enjoyed sight-seeing at Notre Dame followed by a lovely dinner at The Landing in South Bend.
