Florence Seekings will sing and play in the springtime mood and Riley’s “Raggedy Man” will tell children's poems. You’ll have fun and share over good food. Special awards will be given. DURWOOD H. CLARK Durwood H. Clark, 79, of 201 N. Jefferson Street, North Liberty, died at 10:48 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. He was bom May 20, 1915, in South Bend. On October 7, 1939, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, he married Ruth A. Auld, who survives. Mr. Clark retired as the owner/operator of Liberty Tool & Die Co. and was a former employee of Bendix Corp, and Main Engineering, both in South Bend. Also surviving are a daughter, Lawane H. Lord, of Lafayette; a son,, Gordon H., of West Lafayette; and a brother, Edgar D., of Hauchuca. Arizona. A son, Edwin, died November 19, 1952. Mr. Clark was a deacon at the First Brethren Church and a former member of the Liberty Township Advisory Board. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty with Rev. Carl Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 7:00. p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Duran, of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, are the proud parents of a son, born April 4, 1995. He has been named Erik Matthew. He weighed seven pounds and 14 ounces and was 20‘/i inches long. Erik was welcomed home by his two sisters and two brothers, Tiffany, Kaitlyn, Ray II and Cameron. Maternal grandmother is Monica McCrum, of Bass Lake, and maternal greatgrandmother is Bemardina Singleton, of Walkerton. Paternal grandparents are Enid and Larry Gark, of Walkerton, and paternal great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gark, of North Liberty. We all welcome Erik and say congratulations to Ray and Dawn. We love all of you.
