Graduates At Walkerton The D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) graduation ceremony for the fifth graders of Walkerton Elementary School will be on Thursday, February 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the Walkerton Elementary School gymnasium. Walkerton Elementary fifth graders have been participating in the D.A.R.E. prorgam since the beginning of the school year. Sgt. Jeff Heck of the Marshall County Sheriff s Department presents the program once a week. The program gives children skills to recognize and resist the pressures that cause them to experiment with drugs and alcohol. The public is invited to attend the graduation ceremony.
