NORTH LIBERTY By Gladys Sheneman Kenneth and Martha Lemert, of Plymouth, and Gladys Sheneman, of North Liberty, and Mabel Zehner, of Koontz Lake, all enjoyed dinner together on Tuesday at Al’s Diner at Koontz Lake. Thev then went to Mabel’s home where they visited and played a game called Skip-bo which they have played for many years when they get together. The Lemerts will be leaving for Texas next week where they will stay until April. Dorothy Reed and Gladys Sheneman attended Dulcie Holderread’s 100th birthday open house Thursday afternoon where she is a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor. Gladys also called on Luke Telecamp and Gell Fouts who are residents there. So please remember them. Jack and Shirley Norris and Roy and Vera Ward all enjoyed dinner Friday evening at Gropp's Restaurant in Rochester. Happy anniversary to Jack and Shirley Norris who are celebrating their 47th on New Years Day. Happy 45th wedding anniversary to George and Wilda Henry who are also celebrating their anniversary on Sunday. January 1. I wonder if they had snow back then.
