two 1995 66-passenger school buses with Thomas bodies and International chassis with diesel engine from Kerlin Bus Sales for $45,296 per bus. This bid is being accepted over a lower bid from Kerlin Bus Sales for a Ford chasis with Thomas body because the increased cost on a Ford chassis justifies the additional cost for International. The motion provides for the trade-in of bus #2l for a trade price of $15,000 and bus #ls for trade-in price of $1,500, for a total purchase of $74,092. The motion also includes the trade-in or sale of buses #l4 and 16. The School Board discussed the need for purchase of one or two buses to maintain the school bus fleet.
