J. G. Schools Set Parent-Teacher Conferences John Glenn School Corporation will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3. Parents are urged to attend. Conferences provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child's progress. It is an invaluable opportunity for you to gain information and also share perceptions. Urey Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 3 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 to 8:00 p.m. during the evening. You may sign up to confer with vour child’s teachers at the sign-up table at the school or with Ms. Tiani or Mrs. Snell prior to November 3. Ms. Tiani, guidance counselor, will also be available for conferences. Group or individual conferences will be available. If you need information or directions, Mrs. Snell, school secretary, will be available. The Founders Day List was formerly known as the Dean's List. At least a 3.5 grade-point average from a possible 4.0 in a minimum of 12 hours of course work is required to qualify. Students will be honored at the traditional Founders Day ceremony to be held in the Spring. Families of the honored students will be invited for the program, which recognizes both the academic achievements of the undergraduate students and the teaching excellence of the faculty.

HOSPITAL SPONSORS ONGOING CPR COURSES People wishing to learn CPR can take advantage of continuing certification courses sponsored by Saint Joseph's Hospital of Marshall County. The classes are conducted on the first Monday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the hospital and the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Fire Department.
