Nancy Boxell of Savanah, Georgia. He is also the stepson of Linda Rozwarski and Glen Boxell. R.E.A.L. SERVICES NEWS WALKERTON Monday Harold Schweder, our welcoming committee, greeted all that came for the day while Hazel told us some jokes and short stories. Some folks are good at remembering jokes with all the details that mold them. Why can’t they remember equally well how many times they’ve told them? Tuesday we had two ladies from the Walkerton Medical Clinic that gave flu shots for all that were present. We thank the Clinic for this. We had a large attendance. Hazel told a couple of jokes before the meal was served. Wednesday Jessie Schaeffer had the program. I saw a lady back in August stopped along the road and she was looking helplesly at a flat tire. I just stopped by truck and got out and fixed it for her. It was one of those 100 degree days. After I had it fixed the lady said, "Please let the jack down easy. My husband is sleeping in the back seat". My favorite saying, "To worry is to put today’s sunshine behind tomorrow’s clouds". Thursday was a day of chit chatting with one another. We need days like that once in a while. Rose Minter and Martha Young were juice winners. Friday Verice Walz was our piano player at our regular sing-a-long. We were without our song leaders while we didn’t win any prizes, we enjoyed the music and songs. Come to REAL Services. Call Betty Clapper 586-7600. Pick A Pumkin Saturday At The Library Yes, that's pack a pumpkin, not pick a pumpkin! This week at the Walkerton Library's Story Hour children will be painting paper bags to look like pumpkins. After they dry they will get a chance to decorate their pumpkin to look like their ideal jack-o-lantem. And finally they will get to pack it full of stuffing so it looks like a nice fat pumpkin! And while the pumpkins are drying the children will get to hear several Halloween-ish tales to get them ready for the holiday. Story hour runs from 11:00 to 12:00 every Saturday through November 19th. Children ages three
