Meet The New Nursery School Teacher Sunday Beginning the first of September the new Nursery School Teacher/ Director is Sara Williams. Sara has lived in North Liberty for the past five years with her husband Paul and their 11 month old son, Ryan. Sara graduated from Bedford/North Lawrence High School and graduated from Purdue University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Sara has worked at the East Bank Day Care, where she was lead teacher for kindergarten and the Summer Camp program plus 2’s class. She has also taught at Mary Kay has a skin care program designed for your skin type. Mr. and Mrs. John (Kristi) Summers, of North Liberty, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Kessa Malynne. Kessa arrived on August 30 at 12:13 p.m. at St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, weighing in at seven pounds, three ounces and measuring 19 inches long. She was welcomed home by her big brother, Trevor, who is two. Paternal grandparents are John and Opal Summers, North Liberty and maternal grandparents are Nancee and Ellis Swihart, North Liberty, and Donald Zellers, North Judson. Maternal great-grandparents are John and Pearl Nelson, of LaPorte. On Sunday, September 18, Kessa will be dedicated at the Church of the Brethren, North Liberty. Robin and Tom Risner, Walkerton, are the parents of a baby boy, Tyler Jordan, born September 3 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He weighed nine pounds, 15 ounces and was 22V6 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Robert and Shirley Betz, of North Liberty, maternal great-grandparents are Josephine Betz, of Walkerton, and John and Donna Whitmer, of North Liberty. Paternal grandgrandparents are Edward Pogodrinski and the late Helen Pogodzinski, of Walkerton. He was welcomed by a sister, Stormy, age 16 months, at home.
