esa Hershberger of Crete, Illinois, and Vrinds Shanbhag, Maineville, Ohio, sisters-in-law of the bride; and Deb Mosson, Walkerton, and Dee Carmichael, South Bend, friends of the bride. Ashlee Fansler, of Walkerton, served as flower girl. The groom's attendants were Jim Neuser, of Manitowoc, his brother; and Ray Gabica, of Macomb, Illinois; Michael Tarris and Mark Pascual, both of New York City, all friends of the groom. Jordan Maxson, of Bremen, friend of the bride, was ring bearer. The bride’s brothers, Karl Hershberger, of Crete, Illinois, and Paul Hershberger, of Maineville, Ohio, served as ushers. Special music was provided by Dr. Thomas Gregg, of Oxford, Mississippi; and Laura Freeman, of South Bend. Readings during the ceremony were given by the groom's sisters, Lisa Duckart, Michelle Froehlke and Angela Neuser. Ann Moerchen, of Clearwater, Florida, presided at the guest book. David and Paola Callaghan, of New York City, were in charge of programs. A graduate of John Glenn High School, the bride was graduated from DePauw University and received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Mississippi. The groom was graduated from Manitowoc High School and the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay and received his Master of Fine Arts degree from Western Illinois University at Macomb. Both have been active in regional theatres and currently are pursuing acting careers in New York City. A reception was held at the South Shore Golf Gub, Syracuse, immediately following the ceremony. The rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at South Shore the preceding evening. Robert Gerber Joins So. Carolina Architectural Firm Robert V. Gerber, AIA NCARB, son of former Walkerton resident, Esther Gerber, has joined in partnership with Mr. Thomas Smith of the architectural firm of T N Smith Associates in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. A native of Walkerton, Robert graduated from John Glenn High School in 1976, Indiana Vocational Technical College in 1978, and earned a BArch degree from Ball State University, Muncie, in 1983. Robert is a member of the American Institute of Architects as well as certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board and is a registered Architect in South Carolina. Prior to joing T N Smith Associates, Robert was a vice-president with the architectural firm of Liollio Associates Inc., in Charleston, South Carolina. While with Liollio Associates he directed numerous church projects, projects for the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Centers in Charleston, Columbia and Augusta and several post offices, educational institutions and nursing homes projects. He was previously appointed by Gov. Carroll A. Campbell Jr. to serve on the Charieston/Dorcbester Mental Health Center Board of Directors. Laura Jones of Sweetser, Indiana and they have two children. Kristin 6 years old and Jonathan 4 years old. The Gerbers have resided in Charleston, South Carolina since 1983. They are member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church in North Charleston, and he serves on the Charleston District Board of Superintendency. Laura is a candidate for Diaconal Ministry with the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1992, Mt. Pleasant based T N Smith Associates is an architectural and planning firm. Robert plans to continue pursuing the programming, planning and design of church and church related facilities.
