South Bend Washington defeated the Falcons 15-8 and 15-6 in a long two game match. Glenn had better luck against South Bend Gay besting the Colonials 15-4 and 15-15. For the match Jennifer Thomas was 9-9 passing and 8 for 8 serving; Tracie Smith was 8 for 8 serving; Amy Litteral contributed 14 of 14 setting, and Tracey Legge added 3 kills and 2 block kills. The Falcons record now stands at 2-5. The JV volleyball team also split their pair of matches against Washington and Gay. Washington defeated Glenn 15-5 and 16-14. Kristin Miller was 8 for 8 setting while Heidi Westeney was 7 for 7 serving to lead the Falcons. The girls came back in impressive fashion defeating Gay 15-13 and 15-4. Leading the way for Glenn was Suzanne Drews who drilled 4 kills. Holly Legge and Kristin Miller combined for 27 of 29 serving with 3 aces. The JV record now stands at 1-2.
