JIMTOWN RUNS OVER FALCONS 56-0 FRIDAY (continued from Page 1) Four more scores in the third quarter made the game a complete rout. Carpenter scored on a 32 yard run, Brad Personett scored on a blocked punt return, Jim Pratt on a 12 yard run and Sharpe on a 6 yard run. Only one kick was good but that was incidental. The Jimmies climazed the scoring in the final quarter with just 55 seconds remaining when Adrian Pettis scored on a 6 yard run. For Glenn, the passing game figures to be a big part of the offense this season. Jimtown’s defense and some errant throws and missed catches spelled 0-18 in the passing department. Dale Groves led the Falcon rushers with 82 yards from scrimmage. Visit Knox Friday The Falcons will visit Knox on Friday for their second NSC game at Knox's field. The Redskins were also blanked Friday night as they fell 45-0 to their old arch rival, North Judson. It wasn’t a good night for the Northern State Conference as only Jimtown was a winner. Bremen, the strongest contender, fell to a very strong North Wood 3-A team 22-12 and Triton was the only other conference school to score, falling to Northfield 19-8.
