Voice Os The People “Get Your Goat” One of the many offerings in the W.I.N. coupon book is a drawing for a goat from the Walkerton Livestock Salebarn. Your enemies could become your friends, or your friends could easily become your enemies. Just sign their name to the coupon. Skelgas has a nice discount on a purchase. There are many great drawings and discounted coupons for your purchases at local businesses. Don’t forget to buy a book, only five dollars each. There are many stores selling them, just look for the sing saying W.I.N. books, sold here. Thank you Kenny Chapman for nominating me for a white shirt. It is very much appreciated. Walkerton is a very understated town. It has many things needed to improve, but it also has much to be proud of. It has had a good school system for many years, hopefully it will remain so in the future. It has many area restaurants, several specialties shops, excellent grocery stores, auto repair shops, beauty and barber shops, a library, a post office, banks, and other businesses. It has a lot of possibilities to grow, all it needs is a lot of community effort and loyalty. Nothing makes me madder than when I hear someone putting Walkerton down, especially from people ! coming into the area, working at one of the local factories or stores. Hey all of you former Navy guys, Welco has some of the best chipped beef over toast, 5.0.5., that I have ever eaten. Check it out. We have so many mosquitoes that I feel that I am their local eating place. The garden is doing great under all the weeds and grass. The tomatoes need some sun. The cabbage is big enough for fresh coleslaw. I picked the first eggplant. Canning time is fast approaching. We bought two new girl friends for Jeff, the boy turkey last night at the auction. We should have enough turkeys for Thanksgiving. Remember, buy W.I.N. bodes, buy Pumpkin raffle tickets and buy Walkerton! Sincerely, Nedra Williams WALKERTON Vi Masterman returned home after three weeks. He granddaughter, Laura Milliken and girls, of Royal Oak, Michigan, picked her up and also Tina Masterman and son, of South Bend, and went to Jan and Fred Schultz, of Chesterfield, Missouri and stayed there until Thursday and then they went to Plano, Texas, to be guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Masterman and family over the 4th of July. Their guest were Mr. and Mrs. Mark Shultz and family, of Ballwin, Missouri; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Dodson, of Springfield, Missouri; Mr. and Mrs. Matt Milliken and girls of Royal Oak, Michigan; Mr. Chris Shultz and friend of Plano; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Greene, of Piano, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz, of Chesterfield, Missouri; Tina Masterman and son, of South Bend; and Vi Masterman. After the 4th Mr. and Mrs. Rex Masterman and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shultz and Vi Masterman left for five days for Fredrickberg, Texas, stayed there one night at a Bed & Breakfast, seen a lot of things and then on to San Antonio and stayed along the river walk, went through the Alamo and had dinner on the river boat cruising down the river and saw many other things. You might find you save time by decentralizing your linens, keep bedding in or near the bedroom, towels in or near the bathroom, table linens in the dining room and so on.
