NORTH LIBERTY By Gladys Sheneman t About thirty-five t relatives of Tammy and Chris Holderbaum and family spent the 4th of July with them, watched the parade and then enjoyed a bountiful potluck dinner after the parade. They were happy to have Tammy’s uncle, Denny Sheneman and fiance Joyce Bostain of Palm Desert here this year to spent the 4th with the family. What a great day for the 4th of July parade and the fireworks. A special thanks goes to the parade committee for a great parade with many cute nursery rhyme floats. The band was good too, as always. A special thanks also goes to the volunteer firemen for a beautiful display of fireworks again this year and to all the volunteer firemen who helped with all the traffic in and out of‘town as hundreds of people were in town to enjoy all the festivities. Dennis Sheneman and friend, Joyce, of Palm Desert, California, arrived at the South Bend Airport where Gene and Norma Patrick and his mother met them at 7:30 Saturday evening and brought them home to spend some time with them. On Sunday, his mother had all the family then went out to BILL’S ■ PAINTING CO.
