Congratulations to the Robert Lutes, of Walkerton, who will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Sunday, June 26 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall. Best wishes from all your many friends. Frank and Beverly Sims, of North Liberty, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 at the North Liberty Park. They have lived in North Liberty for 60 years. Mr. Sims is an employee of Wells Aluminum for 40 years and Beverly is supervisor of housing at Potato Creek State Park. Please remember the North Liberty Park Board is organizing a ' clean-up of the park on Saturday, ; June 25 from 9:00 to 4:00. Remember the 4th of July and the parade at 2:00 and then the fireworks in the evening at our town park. We do need it to be cleari and look nice as people come from everywhere to see the fireworks. One hundred fifty-five children attended Bible school out at the Church of Christ on Monday. Wilda Henry is the director. The Walkerton Methodist Church is in charge of an 8:15 morning worship service every Sunday at the Stuntz & Hochstetler Pines op Tyler Road. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are and bring your own lawn chair. It will be held inside in case of rain. On June 26 the North Liberty Mennonite Church with Floyd Miller will be holding Sunday service out at Potato Creek State Park for the campers at Peppermint Hill You are welcome. Ray and Pat Carbiener visited Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Sanders in Warsaw. If you were wondering why the bicycle parade was going west through North Liberty on Monday’ morning, it was a bicycle camping tour of all the parks in northern Indiana. There were over 500 camped at Potato Creek Sunday evening. Tents were set up, their supper and breakfast was catered, a band entertained Sunday evening * and at 6:00 a.m. on Monday they headed for the Dunes, then Bass Lake, Chain of Lakes and Pogodan. They will ride 500 miles. Please remember all our sick folks as we have so many namely Barney and Helen Wentz, Darrell Roush, Mid DeVos, Iva Pommert, Lola Pavey and Gail McDaniel who underwent back surgery in Veter-

ans Hospital last Tuesday and came home on Thursday. On Friday he had a heart problem, went to St. Joseph Hospital and returned home Monday. His daughter is here visiting from Archbold, Ohio. Also remember Flora Hough, now in Regancy Care Center. Just talked to Mary Sheneman and Charles and they moved last Wednesday to a Georgetown apartment. Neither one is good, their girls moved them. They can’t get use to living in the apartment after living in a house for about 40 years, so they said. They have an auction on Saturday
