Craft Show And Flea Market At Youth Building The Walkerton Rebakah Lodge will be having a Flea Market and Craft Show on Saturday, May 21, at the Walkerton Youth Building on Washington Street. The sale will start at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m. Also in conjunction with the sale, a lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. along with a bake sale. Two Walkerton Town Employees Complete School f _ y 4 J > RET Steven Groves, left, and Tod Brems, of the Walkerton Electric and Water Department, have successfully completed the 1994 NIPSCO Lineman's School. The school ran 4*/j weeks starting April 11th and ended May 12th. Both men went to school eight hours a day where they were instructed on techniques of pole climbing and constructing poles with crossarms, insulators, wires, etc. They also did classroom work and were tested on a basic electricity course. They both passed the outside and classroom testing with high schores. Congratulations Steven and Tod. LONGER LIFE AFTER HEART ATTACK ... IF! HONOR OUTSTANDING STUDENTS AT VINCENNES UNIVERSITY Vincennes University honored its most outstanding students at an Honors Convocation on April 30 preior to VC's 188th commencement exercises. VU is a statesupported, two-year college offering over 150 occupational and college transfer programs. Among the students honored were: Jennifer Lynn McCormick, North Liberty, a freshman majoring in Psychology, received the Outstanding Freshman Psychology Student Award. She is a member of the Psychology Society, resident assistant at Morris Residence Hall, and secretary of Psi Geta, the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges.
