He explained about testing and water softening in the Water Treatment Plant. Jeff Zehner continued our tour at the Waste Treatment Plant where we saw the oxygen pumps in the lagoons, the laboratory, office, and the pole barn containing equipment and machinery. We appreciate their patience and friendliness. We also are thankful that the precipitation phase of nature's water cycle held off so that we could enjoy lunch at Place Park before returning to school.

On Wednesday Dorothy Taylor read us a story from the Louisville, Kentucky paper about a man’s scalp ripped off and reattached. Thursday we had our juice give-a-way with Ruth Ullery and Lois Cover as winners. Elinore Lemming gave the prayer. Friday we pesented Nora Hahn, our oldest mother present, a crown and a lovely flower. We then had our regular sing-a-long with Verice Walz at the piano and Evadene Platz leading the singing.
