Vi Masterman returned home after being gone a month. She spent time with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shultz, of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Vi and daughter flew to Plano, Texas and spent five days over Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Rex Masterman and family and Chris Shultz. Also Richard Masterman had flown in for a week. Sunday she spent time at her grandson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Shultz, of Balwin, Missouri, to celebrate her great-granddaughter’s birthday. Other guests were Mrs. Laura Milliken and daughter, of Royal Oak, Michigan, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Dodson, of Springfield, Missouri, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Shultz. This was Glenn’s opening match for 1994. The junior vanity was defeated 180 to 189. Scores for the Falcons are as follows: T. J. Jackson 43. Jayson Kincaid and Nathan Cripe 45, Ryan Schmeltz 51 and Chris Linback 58. Other team members for Glenn’s 1994 gold team include freshmen Dan Payne, Jeremy Craig, Jake McPhail and Jerrod Fraschetti. The,Glenn golf team is coached by Ran<9 Schmeltz. Giem4 3rd In Rochester Tourney The Glenn golf team placed third our of 15 teams in the first annual Rochester Golf Classic at Mill Creek Golf Course. Macona quah placed first with a 329 team total followed by Kankakee Valley at 351, Glenn 352, Washington 357, Winamac 358, South Decatur 365. Rochester 367, Knox 373, Culver 385, Fremont 394, Delphi 398. Pioneer 406, Caston 407, Lewis Cass 408 and Triton 423. Medalist was Joe Miller of Maconaquah. Brian Lyle, of Glenn, placed sixth with an 82. Other scores for the Falcons were Wiegand 89, Plummer 90, Hostrawser 91 and Savoie at 95. Glenn’s match at the Plymouth Rock Golf Course with Triton Monday night was rained out and will be rescheduled. The Falcons will host New Prairie and Marian Thursday at 4:30.
