Chess Teams Com petre At State Tourney On Saturday, April 8, three Urey chess teams competed in the state chess tournament in Terre Haute. The top 34 teams from the state played five rounds of chess. The Urey A team with captain Shawn Alpaugh and members Josh LaBosky, Ben Long and Blake Klinedinst finished 10th overall with 3 team points and 12 individual points. The John Glenn School Corporation Instrumental Music Department announces the formation of beginning band classes for all students currently in the sth grade.
