Town Hall Building, 510 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton, Indiana until the hour of 4:30 p.m. on April 18, 1994 for the following. Removing old sidewalks and installing new sidewalks, and in some cases installing new sidewalks where none existed. SPECIFICATIONS Concrete will be s‘/i bag limestone mix. Sand will be used for fill material. All fill material must be compacted. A minimum concrete thickness of 4" is required. Sidewalk will be saw cut for an even face to butt new concrete to. New or replaced sidewalks will be 4’ x 5’ in width to maintain the prevailing widths of the area work is performed in. Any changes to width must be approved, in writing, by the Superintendent of Utilities before the walk can be poured. All old sidewalk material removed by contractor must be disposed of by the contractor. Bid prices shall be per linear foot for 4’, and 5’ sidewalks. Removal costs for old sidewalks shall be the responsibility of the contractor, and should be included in the linear foot price. Removal of sod, and site preparation will be the responsibility of the contractor, and should be included in the linear foot price. Disposal site for old concrete, and sod will be provided by the Town of Walkerton. Bids must be made on forms prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, and accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit.
