Alex Clemons Celebrates 35th Anniversary Alex and JoAnn (Jackion) Clemons, of 703 Monroe St., Walkerton, will celebrate their 35th anniversary on March 28, 1994. The couple have five daughters. Crystal, Julie, Janeen and Angela, all of Walkerton, and Cherie, of North । Liberty. They have five grar dsons and 3 granddaughters. Alex is employed for Howmett, in LaPorte, and JoAnn is retired from Wells Aluminum. SAUSAGE AND PANCAKE BREAKFAST SET FOR SATURDAY, APRIL 9 The North Liberty Lions Club will have an “all you can eat” Sausage and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Need Vendors For Craft And Flea Market The Rebekah Lodge is holding a free market and craft show at the Walkerton Youth Building located on Washington Street. It will be Saturday, May 21. A bake sale and a lunch will be held in conjunction with the craft and flea market show. Come and see some of our local artists and craftsmen. If you ate just a flea market buff stop by, I am sure they will have just what you are looking for! Reservations are now being accepted on first come, first serve basis. The spaces are limited. Spaces inside are 8* xlo' for SIO.OO and outside 10’ x 10' for SIO.OO. You will need your own tables because of limited tables. There are a few tables that can be rented for $3.00 each. All tables must be covered and all boxes out of public view. WALKERTON JUNIOR LITTLE LEAGUE SIGN-UP There will be a late registration for Walkerton Junior Little League on April 6, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and April 9th, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. There will be a coaches meeting at 2:00 p.m. following registration. Ail coaches and anyone interested in coaching or helping the league, please attend. Tryouts will be held April 16th at 11:00 a.m. for the minor leagues and 1:00 p.m. for the Major League. NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATION FOR NURSERY SCHOOL The North Liberty Church of ChriM -Nursery School is taking enrollment for the 1094-1995 school year. We offer classes for children ages 3to 5 years. To be eligible for the 3/young 4's class they must turn 3on or before June 1. To be eligible for the 4/5 class they must turn 4 on or before June 1. ENGAGED Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Voth, of Walkerton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy to Gary Reust. The future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Reust, of Huntington, Indiana. Wendy is a graduate of Purdue University. She is employed as a civil engineer for the city of Akron, Ohio. Gary will graduate from Purdue University in May with a degree in electrical engineering technology. A September 17th wedding is planned. Business Women Meet At Dockside Thursday evening, March 24, at 7:00 p.m., the Walkerton Business & Professional Women’s Club met at Dockside for a pork supper. President Bev Fraine had everyone repeat the Lord’s Prayer with the meal following. Setting in the room with all the Easter baskets, Bev started the meeting. We had a guest speaker, Mr. Len Daugherty, from Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, telling us of the hospital and the clinics to open at Koontz Lake and Knox.

The committees gave their reports. We had two birthdays in March, Bonnie Sullivan and Betty King, with Bonnie winning an Easter basket. The Ways and Mean's project was won by Sue DeMien, winning a basket of flowers. We had one guest which was Christy Roush. The meeting closed with Catherine Thies reading a poem. The door prize was won by Jenny Mullet, a basket of fruit. Bingo was played will different ones winning Easter baskets. Everyone was wished a “Happy Easter".
