Just want to say happy birthday to Larmon Kaser who celebrated his 80th birthday Sunday at the Country Buffet on Grape Road with his family. They had a terrific time seeing new things including an enormous nest of baby alligators in all sizes and 10 to 15 feet adults at a wildlife wetland in Louisana. Mary Morey and Gladys Sheneman called on Susie Teter at the home of her son Kenneth, on Saturday afternoon and happy to report she is getting her strength back now as she was so weak and told us she washes the dishes and had even dusted her bedroom Saturday, she looked much better so she is improving. So sorry to hear about the terrible tornados that hit Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina on Palm Sunday. Made me think back when that terrible one hit in our part of Indiana in 1965 on Palm Sunday. Gell Fouts talked to Elaine (May) Colvard in Robbinsville, North Carolina and she said it rained eight inches in five hours and bridges were washed out and they were having mud slides and it was a mess. I just hope and pray that we don’t have any tornados this summer in our area. It’s raining here now and they say we might have snow yet. I wonder if March is going out like a lion, remember it came in like a lamb. Just hope we have nice weather in April so I can plant some garden and sew some grass seed on my yard.
