"Rejoice!", a ladies quartet, from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, will be in sharing in the service at the Walkerton Wesleyan Church, 700 Van Buren Street, Walkerton, on Sunday, March 27, at 10:30 a.m. Members of "Rejoice!" are: Bethany Lanning, Grant, Michigan; Jennifer Mattatall, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; Michele Surfus, Columbia City; Steven Tripp, Hillsboro, Wisconsin; and Melinda VanCise, New Castle. Stacy and Michelle Hardesty are the parents of a son, Jordan Wayne, born March 9 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He weighed seven pounds and was 19*/j inches long. Maternal grandparents are June Ann and Randy Sheaks, Walkerton and Barry Loutenhiser, of LaGrange. Paternal grandparents are Revs Hardesty, of Plymouth, and the late Wayne Hardesty. Jim and Rita Rogers, 1111 Harrison Street, Walkerton, are the parents of a daughter, Meredith May Rogers, born March 16. She weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces and was 20*/i inches long. Meredith is joined at home by her big brother, Austin, age 6, and big sister, Hillary, age 4*/i.

OBITUARIES
ISEL E. MCCOMBS Isel E. McCombs, 84, of 1400 Miami Trail, Bremen, formerly of Koontz Lake, died at 6:40 p.m. Monday, March 21, in the Bremen Community Hospital. She was born March 20, 1910, in South Bend. On September 24, 1936, in South Bend, she married John W. McCombs, who died January 7, 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca E. Crowel, of Bremen, with whom Mrs. McComb was living; a son, WUliam J. McComb, LaPorte; nine grandchildren; five greatgrandchUdren; a sister, Nora Davitt, of South Bend; and two brothers, Charles Wolfe, Walkerton, and Gaude Wolfe, Ellenton, Florida. Mrs. McCombs was a member of the Walkerton United Methodist Church, a past member of the Order of Easter Star Chapter 319, past member of Beta Chapter Kappa Chi Sigma, past choir director of MUI Creek Baptist Church, and a past Rainbow Mother. Services wUI be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Walkerton United Methodist Church with former pastor Marilyn Gebert officiating. Friends may call at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday and for one hour prior to the service in the Church. MARY K. MYLOTT Mary Kathryn Mylott, 59, of Koontz Lake (Walkerton) and a resident at Fountainview Place, died there Tuesday, March 15, after an illness. She was bom August 11, 1934, in Gary and moved to Koontz Lake 25 years ago from Munstuer. Indiana. Surviving are three daughers, Michaeline Damron of Big Rock, Dlinois, Sharon Pilachowski of Hammond, and Kathleen Reese of Elgin, Illinois; two sons, Edmund Leeney of Waterman, Illinois, and Michael Leeney of DeKalb, Illinois; and 10 grandchUdren. She was a former organist at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Walkerton. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel.
