On Saturday the eighth grade girls played in the North Liberty Tourney, matching up with New Prairie in the first round. The Lady Falcons played well defeating New Prairie by the final mark of 37 -13. Advancing the the championship round, they faced the Jim town Jimmies. VETERINARIANS NAMED TO ACADEMY The Indiana Academy of Veterinary Medicine has named 203 veterinarians as members in recognition of their commitment to excellence in the health care of the state's animal population. Membership in the IAVM, sponsored by the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, is limited to veterinarians who have completed 40 hours of continuing education during the previous year. MARIAN CHAPMAN RECEIVES HOSPICE RECOGNITION PIN The Volunteer Recognition and Annual Report of Hospice of St. Joseph County, Inc., was held Tuesday evening, March Bth, at St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Volunteers were recognized for their patient care, bereavement, office, board, and committee service to Hospice. Special recognition pins were given to Marian Chapman, Harry Brown, Rita Willingham and Barbara Wolf for 10 years of volunteer service.
