Voice Os The People “To Whom It May Concern’’ When 1 was at the Sectional I was not too happy with the way John Glenn's cheering section conducted themselves. 1 understand that they're proud students and are proud to support John Glenn, but so are the other fans. For us fans who had to sit upstairs, we also paid to see the game and we’re are just as proud of our team as the cheering section is. 1 also noticed that John Glenn’s cheering section is the only cheering section that stood up during the whole sectional. Not one of the other shcools did. When asked to please sit down so the fans upstairs could see, we got not respect. For us fans who have no students in school anymore, but still like to support our school and come to watch the games, we would like to be able to see. For us fans upstairs we're there supporting our team the same as the cheering section. Next time put the cheering section upstairs, then they can stand up all they want. Then everyone will be able to see. John Glenn's cheering section was very inconsiderate and very disrespectful to the John Glenn fans upstairs. An Unhappy Fan “Dear Waftertaa Taxpayer" You elected me to be a good steward of your tax dollars, work to make our town a better place for all citizens, plus be a good listener of your ideas. As I’m sure you’ve read, the Town has just received notification that we have been given a grant for $75,000 to purchase land for a new park. Mr. Jay Potts, of the Walkerton Park Board, has assured the Town Council that their plan in the first five years will be paid for by user fees, private donations and

Anxious to hear from you, Gene Reese “Thank Yon" A great big thank you should be given to one of Walkerton's finest. A great gentleman in blue has been giving of his own time chaperoning, baby sitting, and leading a great group of young people on Saturday mornings. All winter he has been working with a group of young people at Urey Middle School. These young people are having a great time with different sports. When you see Steve Roby, tell him thanks. Even better, some of you men might want to help him with this project. Last week Myrna, Claude and I beat Phil, Josephine and Doris all three games out at Al’s. I’m surprised that everybody didn't hear me all over the area. Os course this week I will probably lose greatly. There is still room for more on Tuesdays at twelve noon, so come on out and join the group. The Dollar General Store is setting up in Walkerton. They have put down new flooring and it looks great. I was in the one at Plymouth and I was disappointed in the neatness of the store. It reminded me too much of my office. It will

sure be great to be able to have variety store items in the area again. We have a new puppy dog. Monday night at the Walkerton Sale Barn, we saw some cute black and white puppies for free. Roy said to get a male one. This poor boy had eight sisters and no brothers. This monting I introduced him to our cats. The kittens beat up on him. He is only three times bigger than they, so 1 think maybe he will be easy to train. Ha! Besides he is Roy's dog. Have a great week. Sincerely, Nedra Williams R.E.A.L. SERVICES NUTRITION PROGRAM N. L.
