Two of her daughters, Helen Lister and Marilyn i Thomas, both of Houston, Texas. I came and her son, John, of Mont- ' gomery, Alabama. She was survived by five daughters, but one lived in California, one in Arizona and one in Florida who were not able to come. Her funeral was Sunday afternoon. Juanita Malkowski, her sister, had a lunch- ' eon for the family after the funeral. Please remember Peggy Clark as she had the misfortune of slipping on ice as she left Ray & Kenny's store last Saturday and broke her leg above her ankle. She is to return home Tuesday. We just can't be too careful these days, watch your step. BABY SHOWER HELD A baby shower was held February 27 for Kari Lynn Mitchell, daughter of Tuesday Mitchell and Kerry Finch, of North Liberty. The hostesses was Marget Mason, Cathy Finch and Georgia O'Connor, being held at the latter's home. Twenty were present, several games were played with Helen McEndarfer and Nancy Dolph as winners. The door prize went to Kari's mother. Refreshments were served. Everyone had a wonderful time and Kari Lynn received many nice gifts. OREGON-DAVIS SCHOOL MAKE-UP DAYS ARE SCHEDULED The Oregon-Davis Schools will utilize Monday.
