WOMEN’S AGLOW FELLOWSHIP TO MEET IN WALKERTON The Women’s Aglow Fellowship will meet on Saturday, February 19, at the Walkerton Community Building, Washington and Ohio Streets, in Walkerton. Fellowship will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Praise and Worship at 9:30. Johanna Jonkins will be the speaker for this meeting. Johanna has been a part of Aglow Fellowships for over 15 years. She was the vice-president of the area board and also the local president for several years. She has been married for 37 years and has four children and nine grandchildren. She was bom in Holland and came to the United States as a young bride. Please join us as Johanna shares her personal victories in the Lord Jesus and how her relationship with Him can make all the difference in the world. WILLIAM L. CLARK
William L. Gark, 84, of 10951 E. Kanney Ave., Walkerton (Koontz Lake) died at 9:10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend of natural causes. He was born August 9, 1909, in Starke County and was a lifelong area resident. On February 4, 1939, in Hammond, he married Alberta York, who survives. Mr. Gark was a retired truck driver from Welch's Motor Service, Hammond, and Walkerton Oil Co. Also surviving are a daughter Carol Rackley of South Bend; a three grandsons; four great-grand-children; a sister, Edith Holdren of Peru; and a brother, Russell of Lansing, Illinois. He was a member of the Walkerton Presbyterian Church. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. EDNA A. HARTSOUGH Edna A. Hartsough, 94, of Timbercrest Retirement Home, North Manchester, Indiana, formerly of Lakeville, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the nursing home. She was born October 11, 1899, in St. Joseph County and was a lifelong area resident. On August 18, 1918, in South Bend, as Edna A. Rowe, she married Ivon Hartsough, who died July 17,1983. Surviving are a daughter, Edith Hoffer, of North Manchester; three sons, Dr. Ralph of North Liberty, Raymond of Plymouth, and Royce of South Bend; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. A son, Russell, died August 9, 1993. Mrs. Hartsough was a member of St. Joseph County Farm Bureau Social and Educational Committee and Lakeville United Methodist Church. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial was in Fair Cemetery, North Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity. ANDREW P. CALVIN Andrew Paul Calvin, 14, of 319 W. Patterson Street, Lakeville, died Sunday afternoon in his home. He was a student at La Ville Jr.-Sr. High School. Andrew was born February 23, 1979, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Shidaker Calvin, of Lakeville; his father. Lorin "Larry" of South Bend; a brother, Tony J. at home; maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Arthur Shidaker of Bremen; and paternal grandmother, Doris J. Calvin of LaPaz. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call

JUANITA ELNORA WEATHERTON-HARTUNG Juanita Elnora Weatherton-Har-tung, 75. of 4646 Sand Hill Lane, Needville, Texas, died February 8, 1994. She was bom May 5, 1918, in Moberly, Missouri and had lived most of her life in the Michigan City area. In 1934 she married Ralph Weatherton, who died in 1961. In 1964, she married Gilbert (Curly) Hartung, who passed away February 9, 1993. Mrs. Hartung was a seamstress. Surviving are a stepdaughterfriend Linda Correll, Needville, Texas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Four children preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 19, at 2:00 p.m. in the Green wood Cemetery Chapel, Michigan City.
