percent of the people in North Liberty has this virus that is going around. Even many of the residents in the Walkerton nursing home have it and they don't want visitors. What away to start the new year out. Pauline Powers is now a resident in Miller's Merry Manor nursing home. So please remember her at this time in your prayers and a cheer-up card as she is 91 years old. Virginia Holmes and Ruth Finch helped care for her the last two weeks in her home. So sorry to hear about Harvey's Dime Store closing in Walkerton. When I first started working at Harvey’s in North Liberty the brothers had 27 stores. Then they came down to 14 stores when I first started working. Now they have closed many of them. Now I hear Woolworth s are closing two of their stores in Michigan. How I used to love to shop at Woolworth’s Store in South Bend and LaPorte at Christmas. How about you? An early birthday party in honor of Don McCan and Mariam Fouts was enjoyed by all Thursday evening at the Fouts home. party. Want to say “congratulations'' to my good friend Martha Lemert, of Plymouth, who won the final groceryprize at the Family Fair Store in Plymouth. All I can say you must still have very good eyesight to find that little grocery bag in the Penny Saver and I didn't even have to read your name to tell it was you as it was a very good picture of you. Sorry you can't go cross country skiing at Potato Creek State Park, but Tim Cordell, Park Naturalist, does have a lot of good programs planned for January. I hope to go see the history of the Park at the Nature Center on January 22 at 2:00 p.m. Plan now to attend. Just received word that Marjorie Fair had the misfortune of falling and breaking her leg. So please remember her at this time. FOR RENT | NORTH LIBERTY COMMUNITY CENTER AIR CONDITIONED Renting For All Decisions 300 S Main Street Phone 656-4134
