LADY FALCONS SUFFER 57-48 SETBACK MONDAY Glenn's Lady Falcons record fell to 4-5 Monday night after the team's disappointing 57-48 roundball loss to South Central at the Falcon's Aerie. The visiting Satellites improved to 6-4 on the campaign. Glenn came out strong in the opening minutes of the initial period, taking a 7-0 lead. The locals then ran into swift foul difficulties as they were whistled for 10 personels in the first eight minutes of play. three each early in the second stanza. After leading 9-4 the Falcons quickly found themselves down 15-14 at the first atop. The white clad Falcons regrouped at the intermission and closed to within seven at the end of the third quarter 42-35. The Glenn gals could get no closer than seven in the final period as every attempt to make a run at South Central was countered by the Satellites. In all the locals turned the ball over 22 times, twice as many miscues as their opponents. Although playing less than three quarters, Legge led the Falcons in scoring with 14 points and eight rebounds. Dara Cisney and Renee Fisher each chipped in with 10 markers and Jennifer Hoover hauled down 12 boards. Mary Goodwin of South Central took game scoring honors with an impressive 26 points which included four treys. She also led her team with eight carooms. The Falcon skipper was visiably

The locals jumped to a quick 6-0 lead and then settled for an 8-1 advantage at the first stop. By halftime the young Falcons led 15-9 and then went on to shut out the visitors in the third frame to lead 23-8 to start the last six minutes. The win enabled the locals to improve to 5-4 on the year. South Central falls to 3-7. Elaine Davidson and Alicia Allsop paced the Falcons’ big black attack with 15 and 10 points respectively. Allsop also had 10 rebounds and Davidson eight. Ojeta Oke added 4 points, followed by Tracey Futa with 3, Lindsay O’Connor 2 and Crystal Brooke 2. Angel Dietrich and Tiffany Ransbottom played well but did not score. Glenn JVs Split 2 Games This Weekend The John Glenn Junior Varsity Basketball Team split a pair of games this past weekend. The Falcons held off the New Prairie Cougars 35-28 Friday night, to raise their record to 4-0. Saturday, December 11, Glenn traveled to Jackson Middle School to challenge the South Bend Riley Junior Varsity. RUey fought off the Falcons for a 48-41 win leaving the Glenn

Tony Lidgard hit 9 points each night including four 3-pointen. Doug Hill added 15 points and 8 rebounds on the weekend. Dan Walter and Jason Knepp led the team in rebounds at South Bend Riley with 5 each. Doug Hill led the Falcons with 5 rebounds against New Prairie. LeVandoski came off the bench and supplied some good ball handling, and Guseilla pulled down 4 rebounds himself against the Cougars.
