from town, think that rural residents need their garbage in our ditches and fields. It costs the rural area citizens more than the town people to have garbage pickup. People in the country try to keep the ditches and road areas mowed. 1 burned the fence row on our land a few weeks ago. Within a few days there were cans, bottles and paper in my cleaned ditch. I’m sure that the tossers wouldn't like me to dump on their property. The plastic sacks of garbage are already appearing along the back roads. These sacks of j .rbage can be very harmful to animals and to farmers equipment. What I'm saying is “Slobs, take your garbage back to your own home!" Last night the local 1.0.0. F. had a district dinner. After an excellent dinner prepared by the local lodge, we were entertained by the
exuberent duo of Maxine Worthington and Violet Wolff. After several choruses of manv songs, the party ended with the singing of God Bless America. Very nice party, 1.0.0. F. and Rebekahs. This weekend there will be plenty of barbecued chicken and ribs available. Both the North Liberty Fire Department and the Walkerton Friends of the Fourth will be serving chicken. This latter group will also have barbecued ribs. Another eating weekend. Well, it's back to ditch cleaning. Sincerely, Nedra Williams R.E.A.L. The 45,000,000 year old fossil beds with a horse that has three toes on its feet and the 9,000 acre forest out in the desert. What makes it grow there with maybe three inches of rain a year. Wednesday Jessie Schaeffer had the program encouraging people to send their cards in that the school sent out and also encouraged everyone to call their representative and senator about the “Family Protection Amendments”.
