LILLIAN M. BUETTNER Lillian M. Buettner, 76, of Iroquois Road, Walkerton (Koontz Lake), died at 8:03 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend after an illness. Mrs. Buettner was bom July 24, 1916, in North Judson. On June 26, 1935, in North Judson, she married Leßoy F. Buettner, who died July 13, i 1983. Surviving are a son, Harry, of LaPorte; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Harrell, of Richland, Mo., Lucille Podell, of Winamac, and Mildred Thews, of Chicago; and a brother, David Okeley, of North Judson. A daughter, Patricia, died in 1972. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. * Wednesday in the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial followed in the Grovertown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. I GEORGE S. KELLER George Samuel Keller, 44, of 4 W. Madison Street, Hamlet, died at 7:00 a.m. March 24 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend after an illness. He was bora March 3, 1949, in LaPorte. Mr. Keller was a truck driver at Bulk-Matic Co., Griffith. son; two sisters, Patricia Seese, of Grovertown; and Judith Wydau, of Shelbyville; and maternal grandmother, Essie Alcock, of Grovertown. He was a member of the Hamlet Zoning Board. Services were held Saturday in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial was in Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. LOUISE C. GUYSE Louis C. Guyse, 71, of Oceanside, California, died at 11:46 a.m. Thursday in his home. He was bora January 10, 1922, in North Liberty and lived the last 31 years in Oceanside. He was a maintenance plumber with U.S. Civil Service. Surviving are his wife, Edna M. Guyse; a daughter, Helen Merkel, of Walkerton; two sons, Vic Geesaman, of Oceanside and Glen “Dick” Geesaman, of Lebanon, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; a sister, Lois Baum, of Donaldson; and a brother, Charles C. Guyse, of Walkerton. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel, Oceanside. Cremation will take place. Mr. Guyse was a veteran of World War II and received the purple heart. He was a member of the Army 99th Infantry Division, a German prisoner of war, a past commander of American Legion Post 365, North Liberty, past member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of the Elks Lodge.
