Students also follow along with a video tape program and various classroom activities. In addition to the nutrition knowledge gained, the students learn to make growth charts, are introduced to and work with the metric system and accept the responsibility of the rats’ care. Dairy and Nutrition Council’s live animal feeding demonstration is designed to help educate and emphasize the benefits of milk and daity products in the diet. UNITED METHODIST PLANS “KEY EVENT CELEBRATIONS” “Key Event Celebrations’’, based on the idea that Jesus Christ is the Key Event in all human history, is planned for North Liberty United Methodist Church beginning with the regular 9:30 a.m. service of worship. Unique worship services for the next four weeks will emphasize “Key Events" in the life of Christ; Natitivy, Passion, Palm Sunday, and Resurrection. A final service on May 30th will celebrate the sending of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The theme for this Sunday is “It's Christmas Again Without The Hastie: The Nativity of Jesus Christ is the Key to God’s Love for Us". Persons present in the service will have the opportunity to make a spiritual gift in response to God’s love.
