John Glenn Art Students Do Well In Art Contest The John Glenn Art Department entered many qualified works in the Regional Scholastic Art Contest. Glenn received more than its expected share with 24 pieces earning special recognition. All of the following works will be displayed at the South Bend Century Center from February 14th through the 26th. FMA Donates 155 Acres At Kingsbury Area A gift from the U.S. Farmers Home Administration will add 155 acres of wetlands and farmland to the Department of Natural Re-sources-owned Kingsbury Fish & Wildlife Area in LaPorte County. I he tract lies a half mile south of C.R. 200 South, just west of C.R. 900 East. Kingsbury Fish and Wildlife Area is located in the southeast section of LaPorte County. “Acquiring valuable natural areas — particularly wetlands — is a top priority of the Department of Natural Resources.” said DNR Patrick R. State St., North Liberty, and a senior at Manchester College, is the 1992-93 recipient of the Jason D. and Blanche E. Lindower Scholarship. The fund was established by the Lmdowers to provide scholarship assistance to promising students, with preference given to the members of the Church of the Brethren. Blanche Lindower is a 1925 Manchester alumna. Manchester College is a four year liberal arts college affiliated with the Church of the Brethren. It was founded in 1889.
