Wells, Chairman JUNIOR VARSITY FINISHES 7- 0 IN CONFERENCE The John Glenn Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team finished with an undefeated conference record by turning back LaVille Friday night 39 to 37. The win increased the Junior Varsity record to an overall 15 to 4 and a 7 and 0 conference record. Though Glenn led at each quarter stop 12 to 8; 24 to 18 and 33 to 28. The Lancers continued to hang close and only after a threepointer failed to go in at the buzzer was the final outcome decided. Freshman Nick Medich tossed in 12 points and led the team with three steals in the game. Nathan Lichtenbarger sat the first quarter to split some varsity time, and erupted for 8 quick second quarter points finishing with nine to go along with six rebounds. Ryan Walls contributed eight points and two assists. Landon Wiegand and Ike Mark scored 4 points each and Steve Savoie added a basket and 4 rebounds. Vaughn Ross led the Lancers with a game leading 14 points while Beach, Lipp and Kitchen all contributed six points each. PLYMOUTH DEFEATS UREY BTH GRADE GIRLS IN BASKETBALL On February 9, the Plymouth Bth Grade A team defeated Urey’s Bth Grade “A” team by a score of 27-19. Scorers for the Falcons were Schmeltz 8, Dietrich 4, Futa, Binion, Davidson 2 each and O’Connor 1. The Urey Bth Grade “B“ Team lost their game 18-15. Scorers for Urey were Binion 11, Matz 2, Walter and Schmeltz 1 each. The Urey 7th Grade "A” team defeated the Pilgrims 20 - 13 as Danielle Ludwig led the Falcons with 7 points and Bridget Honaker chipped in with 5 points, Share Oke 3, Heidi Wasteney and Holly Legge 2 points each and Lisa Klingerman 1 added 1.
