For North Liberty Elementary School, seven fifth graders and eleven sixth graders prepared vocal and piano entries in this year's district contest. Jessica Smith, a sixth grader, had prepared as part of an ensemble, but was unable to attend due to illness. The judging for this contest is used as a tool for self-improve-ment and is not judged as a competitive event. UREY WRESTLERS LOS TO PLYMOUTH The Urey wrestlers lost to a very tough and experienced Plymouth team Monday night. The Falcons for the most part wrestled aggressively, but just could not get past the experience factor. Recording wins by pin were Blount, Ottinger and Claywell. Winning by decision was Shane Whitmer. Also wrestling well in close matches were Neiswender, Smith, Miller, Downy and Kemp. The next action is Thursday night versus LaPorte Boston at the North Liberty gym.
