CARD OF THANKS
I would like to thank my family and friends for the gifts, cards and calls and for making my birthday the greatest! Love ya, Joan Beagles We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all who sacrificially gave of themselves during our time of personal loss. Your loving support and assistance during the extended illness and following the death of our husband and father, Homer Martin, helped alleviate our burden during this difficult time of adjustment. We especially offer our gratitude to the ladies of the First United Presbyterian Church of Walkerton for the lovely funeral dinner and to the congregation in general for the prayers, cards, food and transportation assistance. We thank the nurses of the third floor of LaPorte Hospital who cared for Homer during his last days. We also extend our appreciation to our friends, relatives and neighbors for the prayers, cards, flowers, gifts and words of encouragement and consolation. The Family of Homer Martin LOCAL STUDENT NAMED TO NEWSPAPER POSITION The Nebraska Wesleyan University Publications Board has selected students for positions on the Cornerstone, Wesleyan’s weekly student newspaper, for the spring 1993 semester.
