Both teams hit just three baskets in the first period, but Glenn's three were all three-pointers, two by Aaron Casteel and one by Jason Groves while the Eagles had three conventional baskets. In this game of somewhat slower pace, and defensive play keeping the teams from opening up. there were only nine fouls whistled in the first half, six on Culver and three on Glenn with the Falcons attempting six free throws, hitting just half. Pie score by halftime had moved only 20-14 in the slow moving game. Pie second half started out with more of the same, the play a little better, but the Falcons needed another pair of three-pointers this period to help reach their total of 16 points. Culver meanwhile, was still cold getting only four baskets including one trey, and the Falcons had stretched their lead to 36-23 after three periods. The play then loosened up as the Cadets put on more defensive pressure and were forced into foul-

HAM AND BEAN SUPPER SET FOR FEBRUARY 13 IN NORTH LIBERTY A benefit Ham and Bean Supper for the North Liberty Ambulance and Fire Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 1993, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the North Liberty Comminity Center. FIVE GLENN WRESTLERS PLACE IN NSC MEET The John Glenn wrestling team participated in the NSC meet at Triton on Saturday. After a long, frustrating day. two wrestlers placed second, seniors Bruce Brown and Dave Menefee. Recording fourth place finishes were Jacob Casteel, Micky Day and Gayton Marks. Dan Schmeltz and Mickey Bowen recorded fifth place finishes. The Sectional Tournament takes place this Saturday at LaPorte High School.

REAL SERVICES NEWS WALKERTON Monday Herald Schweder welcomed everyone in while Hazel always cheers us up with jokes and lots of laughter and smiles. It turns “blue Monday” into a happy day! Tuesday Mr. Stuntz had the program and prayer. On Wednesday, Jessie Schaeffer had the program and talked to us once again about Hawaii and brought pictures to show. On Thursday Very! Haag and Florence Seeking were with us bringing us "Christian Music" with the guitar. They brought "Oscar" along a little guy they use with some of their songs "Come and see him!" Friday we had sing-a-long with Verice Walz at the piano and Maxine Worthington leading the singing. Come to REAL Services and enjoy the food, fun and fellowship.
