NORTH LIBERTY NEWS By Gladys Sheneman Last week we published the wrong zip code for Sara Brodzinski. Her correct address is Florida College, 119 N. Glen Arven Ave., Temple Terrace, FL 33617. Doug and Myra Kaser just returned home from Florida. Doug has spent the past four months in the Everglades National Park working where the hurricane did so much damage. He says the town is still a disaster. Myrna flew down and spent the past week visiting Harold and Sara Kaser and they also spent time at Fort Myers Beach calling on the Limericks and Baumans and stopping at Lake* land and visited with Clyde and Rose Creech and Allen and Ellen Balsley and family. They really enjoyed seeing and visiting with all these North Liberty folks. Naomi Prickett, of Ohio, is here visiting her daughter Joyce Richmond and her husband, Charles. She was a luncheon guest of Gladys Sheneman on Tuesday. Martha Roush, of Walkerton, was a Sunday dinner guest. 1 almost didn't write any news this week, so please call me if you want me to continue the North Liberty News. My number is 656-8960. Jim and Audrey Reed, of Nokomis, Florida, are here visiting his mother, Dorothy Reed. Are you enjoying the sunshine? You should because we haven't had much and this month is almost gone. How many of you remember back in January, 1978 on the 25th and 26th. We had a blizzard on the 26th and stores and school all closed. 1 worked at Harvey's and didn't open the store until Saturday and then everyone walked downtown as there was 30 inches of snow on the ground. I can still remember those big snow banks. So far, we have had a good winter, but it's still far from over. Saturday evening dinner guests of Aletha Croy were John and Pat Croy, of South Bend, Bob and Roxanne and son Doug, of Plymouth, and Steve and Joanne Rudynski, of North Liberty. Bruce Salyer, who received a liver transplant, is back home from Mayo Clinic and improving everyday. Please remember Ron Lemert who has gone to Mayo Clinic having tests done to find out his problem. Lorie Seifert and daughter Jennifer returned home Sunday
