R.E.A.L. SERVICES NEWS WALKERTON On Monday, Bob Schaeffer talked to us on what is going on at the school and then talked some on how we are trying to survive our rent on this building. Tuesday Mr. Stuntz talked to us about the state of lowa. He said it was the com state and the home of Buffalo Bill, John Lewis, the president of the Union and where John Wayne was born. He brought pictures in of our little trip and said he would have some made for anyone who wanted them. Also lowa is the home of the Little Brown Church in the Wildwood. Wednesday Mrs. Clark told us about another trip they took up a creek. How Warner slid down the river bank and she had to rescue him. liked to take them along on a trip just for the laughs. On Thursday Mr. Gwin talked to us on nature and trees. One tree he saw was 150 foot high and then he read us a story poem. We gave juice away and Leon McKesson and Ruth Capek won. On Friday we had our sing-a-long with Millie Daniels leading us in singing and Verice Walz at the piano. Fred took care of the books. Thanks to Pat Cowger and Mille and Fred for the cucumbers. Blood pressure will be coming up the 22nd of September.
