N.L. Lions Club Collects Old Eye Glasses Bill Blankenship, of the North Liberty Lions Gub, collects used eyeglasses and processes them on a tensometer that gives the prescription. These will be sent to Daleville, Indiana and will be used and sent to and around the world to help the less fortunate. Lions International has started a campaign to prevent blindness around the world. Used eyeglasses and used hearing aids and artificial limbs can be dropped off at your local Lions Gubs.

Glenn To Host JV Football Jamboree Aug. 24 The J-V Jamboree at Glenn will be played on Monday, August 24, at 6:30 p.m. It is a three (3) team jamboree with Glenn, New Prairie and Marian participating. The order of play will be as follows: Ist quarter — Glenn vs. Marian (Glenn ball on 30 yard line). 2nd quarter — Marian vs. New Prairie (Marian ball on 30 yard line). 3rd quarter — New Prairie vs. Glenn (New Prairie ball on 30 yard line).
