Approve Chapter One Application for 1992-93 School Year The 1992-93 Chapter One program is based on a comprehensive evaluation of the 1991-92 program which was very successful in showing gains in individual student scores in math and reading. The 1992-93 program will have greater emphasis on prevention and intervention strategies that will assign 10 students to each teacher aide at the primary level. A greater effort will be made to work with the parents of Chapter One students. A concern was expressed that due to the decrease in the number of students on free lunch at North Liberty Elementary School that financial support for the Chapter One program could be reduced in the 1993-94 school year.
