Board of School Trustees ltj9 ANCILLA COLLEGE GRADUATION The largest graduating class in the 25-year history of Ancilla College received their diplomas May--30 in the Ancilla Domini Chapel. Dr. Trudi L. Volk, a 1970 Ancilla graduate, addressed the 66 graduates of Ancilla College at the commencement marking the 25th anniversary since Ancilla opened its door to the public. Volk holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University as well as a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Education from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. The graduates received their degrees from Charles Weaver, chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Sr. Virginia Kampwerth, president of Ancilla. The 66 graduates combined liberal arts courses with their program majors. Sister Johnel Kunkel, Dean of Academics, presented the candidates for degrees in Arts, Sciences and Liberal Studies. Associate of Science Degrees were awarded to Jacalyn Dark, Grovertown; Kimberly Laizure, Walkerton; Toni Mann, Walkerton, Barbara Martin, Grovertown; Rebecca Robison, Walkerton; and Cynthia Rude, Walkerton.
