St. Patrick School Fills Teacher Vacancy i St. Patrick School completed the roster of teachers on Tuesday, July 7, when Mary Beth Kolter signed her contract. Kolter, a graduate of Purdue University, will teach the combined third and fourth grades. She brings her experience with Gifted and Talented programs, with basketball coaching and with coaching cheerleaders. Kolter has taught Chapter One class in addition to her beginning studies for Gifted and Talented programs. She has experience in arts, crafts, music and physical education. Most recently, she worked as an aide in Argos Elementary School, Argos, Indiana. Kolter joins the faculty made up of Sister Mary Jane Knitter, grades 5 and 6; Mrs. Frances Leffert, grades 1 and 2; and Mrs. Suzanne Chase, kindergarten and nursery. St. Patrick Catholic School offers a complete curriculum according to state guidelines. Classes are taught in the spirit and tradition of Catholic education. Children of all faiths are welcome and presently enrolled at the school. Enrollment is still open in all grades. Pictured is Mary Beth Kolter after signing her contract to teach

OREGON TOWNSHIP SENIORS TO MEET The Oregon Township Senior Citizens will meet at the Hollywood Restaurant, on Route 30, Thursday, July 16 at 1:00 p.m. Do come and enjoy an afternoon with your Senior friends. Bring a sack lunch. Our hostess, Josephine, will furnish the beverages. Do come and enjoy a pleasant afternoon as always. Bring a friend. After the business meeting, pinochle or other games will be played or just visiting if you choose.
