OBITUARIES

FRANCES L. SLATTERY Frances L. Slattery, 95, of 105 S. Williams St., died at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Walkerton. Mrs. Slattery was born June 1, 1896, in North Liberty and was a lifetime area resident. On September 1, 1928, in South Bend, as Frances Albright, she married Walter P. Slattery. He died in 1959. She is survived by a sister, Martha McCrosky, of North Liberty; and several nieces and nephews. Services will were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home with Rev. James Stansell officating. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Mrs. Slattery was a retired self-employed seamstress and was a member of the North Liberty United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the North Liberty Women’s Club. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. K. L.
