Tri Kappa “Best Os Show’’ For Urey Students w ’ J 1" IM ■ num ■■L I Stephanie Reinhold, daughter of Doug and Sue Reinhold, was one of the many Urey students to participate in this year’s Tri Kappa Art Show. Stephanie’s entry was a water color/air brush painting. UREY BOYS TRACK TEAM WIN TWICE The Urey 7th and Bth grade boys track team won two matches recently when they outdistanced their opponents in a triangular match and then won a dual meet with Culver. In the triangular, Urey had 67 points to North Judson’s 52 and North Newton’s 29. For the Urey team, first place winners were Medich in the 50; Knepp, 100; Dickson, 400; Gark 200 hurdles; Day, 800; and Groves won both the 200 and long jump. The 1600 meter relay team consisting of Bowen, Dickson, Day and Hall were also victorious. Gaining seconds were: Pippenger, 110 hurdles; Bowen, 1600; Hall, 400; Savoie, discus; Knepp, shot; and Pontius, high jump. Placing third were Young in the long jump and Savoie in the shot put. Fourth place finishes were awarded to Gark, 110 hurdles; Groves, 50; Hall, 100; Ross, 200; and Gusiella, discus. In the dual meet with Culver on May 14, the Urey team edged the host Cavaliers 61-57 to raise their season record to 7 wins and three losses. Winning firsts for the Falcons
