President Joyce Liggett was in charge of the business meeting. After opening verse and song, roll call was answered by 20 members. All officers gave their reports. The committee for the recent card par-ty-salad bar reported on the event and income derived. All proceeds will go towards scholarships. The drawing for the quilt raffle will be held May 2. Grand prize is a king size quilt; first prize is a quilted wall hanging; second prize is a pillow; and third prize is a lifted star wall hanging. Tickets are still available from any Zeta Pi member. The final day for members to turn in their quilt raffle money to Sue Crone is April 27. The scholarship chairman announced that 18 applications for scholarships have been receive. The High School Award Day will be May 12 and award day for fifth and sixth graders will be May 22. Following the closing verse the president introduced the Province Officer, Rita Hagenow, who conducted inspection, using the theme “A Stitch In Time”. At the dose of the meeting refreshments were served by Karen Warner, Kay Hickman and Willadene Mal staff. The next meeting will be held May 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center. There will be a guest speaker and election of officers. Co-hostesses will be Thelma Stackowski and Peggy Bajer. Shop At Home
